do we ever disagree? every day.

is one of us ALWAYS right? you can count on it.

do we prove each other wrong? all the time.

say you're engaged to the "man of your dreams." he's absolutely perfect, you have never really fought before, it's been a loooooong 8 months of dating (ha good ol' utah...) and you "know everything about this person" or, so you think.....you promise yourself that you will never fight and that if you ever have a disagreement, it will be worked out all out of love and kindness and you'll be making up 5 minutes or less, later.

you're now happily married and a problem starts to arise. how do you handle it? just like you practiced when you were dating, right?..wrong. you've never really been in an argument with your spouse, so how would either of you know how to handle a situation like so? it goes one way or the other, very good, or very very wrong.

now i'm not saying you should try to cause problems in your relationship to get practice, i just believe it is important, that to a certain extent, to not get discouraged when minor problems occur in your relationship. i'm not writing this to give myself a peace of mind, land and i have literally been to hell and back with this, and we are just starting to figure each other out a year later and how to handle things the right way, but you know what? "if" ;) i were to marry landon, i could honestly say that i am confident in the way that we handle things together because of the practice and many many experiments we've had with it. sure, it sucks to fight with people you love. but you know what? it's life. it happens to EVERYONE. don't let anyone tell you it doesn't, because if anyone says that, they are either lying, or it's still yet to come.

why am i writing this? i don't really know to be honest.

maybe because i love, love. 

i love to analyze and understand why people do the things they do.

and you know what, all i can narrow it down to, is that people do crazy, stupid, indescribable things when they are in love. and that's just how it's supposed to be.

yup. i'm one of those. a hopeless romantic. sue me.

I LOVE THE WORLD

not in any cliché "wanderlust" kind of way....like, i am obsessed with the world. with all of the complexities of the creation, with mother nature, it is constantly changing. honestly what could be better? the whole idea of it is truly amazing. how could anyone not believe in God? there is no way the world was just one day created out of thin air. there was a serious manner of time and preparation for it to be as beautiful and as perfect as it is...

It has been one loooong year with this lovely love chug of mine.

But you know what? every experience, every adventure, every lesson, every minute spent with this boy has been completely worth everything we have gone through because it truly has made us so much stronger and we both have come so far from where we've been.

i feel like i have known landon my ENTIRE life.

I met landon at the beginning of my senior year last year, I was just coming out of another relationship, which landon didn’t hesitate for a second to move that process right along {he’s very dedicated} so in no time at all we started to get acquainted with each other pretty well. 

Let me put it this way, after a long three hour talk on the top of cascade hill the first day we met, I was taken to his parent’s house and introduced to his entire family! i know, right? BOLD move babe.

i instantly fell in love with the beautiful christensen family and began to do literally EVERYTHING with them.

 landon and i started dating today a year ago and we became literal best friends. we would talk for HOURS and HOURS until the sun came up, we talked about everything and anything that would come to mind. and to be honest, it is still that way today.

People are always asking how we never run out of things to talk about, truth is, i honestly have NO idea.

landons always got something on his mind, and he's always wanting to try to dig just a little bit deeper. and i've always got the answers to keep the conversation rolling. it works out perfectly.

landon and i have been through a lot. like.....A LOT. we haven't always treated each other the way we should, and there are some things i think about that have either been done or said that just makes me cringe at the thought of it.....

would i take back ONE of those things? NEVER.

those things have molded us into who we are as an individual as well as who we are together, and i wouldn't change that for the world.

i am so grateful to have met landon and to still have him in my life, always there for me when i need him, when i need a good laugh, or when i just simply need a friend.

it also doesn't hurt that he is THEE most attractive guy in the entire world. seriously though. he is beautiful.

i look forward to seeing what the future holds for the both of us:)
