MUSIC IS MY "GO-TO" FOR LITERALLY EVERY MOOD. IF I'M NEEDING A GOOD PUMP UP, DONE. A REASON TO CRY, DONE. I'VE PLAYED THE PIANO SINCE I WAS 5 YEARS OLD, AND I'VE HAD A PRETTY SOLID PASSION FOR SINGING SINCE AROUND THEN AS WELL. SO THE TUNES ARE SECOND NATURE TO ME...

>>3. I ABSOLUTELY HATE CHOCOLATE.....EEE..I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY, I JUST CAN'T DO IT....THE ONLY THING CHOCOLATE I CAN STAND IS A GOOD CUP OF HOT CHOCOLATE. PREFERABLY SPICED FROM EITHER COMMUNAL OR TORTILLA BAR. AS WELL AS A WHITE HOT CHOCOLATE HAZELNUT FROM STARBUCKS.

A PROBLEM SO BAD THAT IF I WENT TO THE DOCTOR HE COULD PROBABLY DIAGNOSE ME WITH A DISEASE FOR IT... I KNOW ALL OF YOU SNITCHES THINK YOU CAN RELATE, BUT WHEN YOU SPEND HUNDREDs OF DOLLARS A WEEK ON CLOTHES, SHOES, JEWELRY,AND FUTURE BABY CLOTHES & HOME DECOR, AT AGE 19...THEN WE'LL TALK. BUT ONLY BECAUSE WE SHARE SOMETHING IN COMMON AND WE'LL PROBABLY GET ALONG GREAT!

FACE LIFT

so there is sentiment to the new blog name...

we won't get into all of the details, but i came across this quote a while back>>>--------->

"an arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. so when life is dragging you back with difficulties  it means that it's going to launch you into something great. so just focus, and keep aiming." 

i've always loved the saying "BE STILL" it is so simple, yet so complex.

it is a beautiful thing to be able to be still in the midst of chaos.

too often i feel we as humans like to complicate things, when in all reality all we really need to do is, be still.

you will find that a happy person isn't someone who's life is perfect.

it isn't someone who has everything figured out.

you're not going to find it in the richest person in the world.

in fact, you'll find that someone who is able to be happy, is someone who has decided to simply, BE STILL.

someone who accepts life for what it is, and takes it all in.

i find myself trying to control the outcome of situations instead of just having a little faith and trusting God's plan for me..... "be still, and know that i am God"

it's as simple as that really.

seems a lot easier than it really is.

but when you think about it,

that's just it.

God has a plan for you, and his plan isn't going to be messed with.

so sit back, and enjoy the places you are taken to.

BE STILL and have faith that what is to be, will be. and what it is, is what it's supposed to be.

so between the arrow, one of my favorite sayings, and a little history behind both, comes my new blog name.

A LIL TASTE OF HEAVEN

let me just begin by saying, never have i EVER had better food in my entire life.

i've had the privilege of being able to shoot with the one and only zoe lazerson a few times this past month.

don't even get me started on this cute thing...i could go on for days on days...

not only is she the tiniest cutest babe in the world, she is honestly the most talented photographer!

she has been doing shoots for a bunch of cute little shops here and there, and whenever i ask her what she's got going on, she's booked with shoots! she's my inspiration. her work is phenomenal and she gets me more and more excited every time we shoot to get started in the industry!! yeeee!!!

 

welp, there i go!!

i could go on forever, really though.

so, the last shoot we did was a few weeks ago. it's at this place called 

tortilla.bar

if you haven't already been to this place, GO. right now. 

from the many assortments of taco's to their amaze churros, hot chocolate, and tea, you will NOT be disappointed. zoe's dad does business with one of the owners, which not to mention is one of the nicest guys i have ever met. goodness...everyone that works there just wants you to have the best experience, they are constantly serving you! i was never foodless! haha i ate so much. as soon as i was halfway through a dish, a new one was being presented before me. 

it's the coolest environment ever! i live for places like that, communal, sammy's, etc. if you haven't been to any of those you are missing out big time! get there snitches! ferrr real doe!

we did a shoot with all of their food, so we literally got to try EVERYTHING that they have to offer. never once, was i disappointed.....

anyway i could go on as my mouth waters, or you can all just get off your arse's and try it for yourself. do ittttttt tho.

DETOX

 

well well well, believe it or not, i'm giving in...

i am going on a social media cleanse!!

okay, with the exception of my blog, because that would be completely outrageous!

 

i was thinking this morning, and it literally made me sick how much time i spend a day on SM

(instagram, face book, twitter, etc.)

 

i tried calculating it to come up with  approximate hours spent each day.

the numbers literally made me cringe.....eeee

 

there are those who use it to "stay connected" per say, and the there are those who have an addiction.

i fall under the addiction category, no doubt!

 

isn't it crazy to think that just 20 years ago, all of most people had to stay connected was a land line?

 

i honestly cannot imagine it being like that today..so crazy how far the world has come since then.

 

it's disgusting really....

 

 

i find that it actually really stresses me out to keep up with all of it anyway....

i've decided if i start to see a change in the way i feel without it, i'm permanently giving it up.

 

that is HUGE for me....really though.
